All students are members of the school library however, those who want to use library privileges, should have their school identity cards with them.

A student can borrow only one book at a time for a period of one week.

Books will be issued to the students, during the library periods. No book will be issued or returned during teaching hours.

If a student borrows a book and hands it over to another student, he/she shall do so at his/her own risk and be held responsible for any damage or loss.

Marking, underlining or writing on library books is strictly forbidden.

Reference books, such as dictionaries and encyclopedias, and magazines will not be issued to any student. These can be read only in the library room.

Library books are to be deposited at least three days before the start of any holidays longer than one week or before the start of examinations.

If the books are not returned by the due date it will be viewed seriously and a fine of Rs.5/- per day late will be charged.

The librarian may call for a book at any time, even before the due date for return.

In case a book is misused, wrongly handled or lost, the student concerned will have to replace the book or pay the full price of the book and will be debarred from borrowing books for the next month.

A ‘No Dues Certificate’ by each student is to be obtained from the librarian when a student seeks withdrawal from the school. Strict order and silence shall be maintained in the library.
